Everett is situated at Washington, USA and is placed at the sixth position in terms of the area. The foundation

Everett Land Company was started by its founders Colgate Hoyt, Henry Hewitt and Charles Colby in the year 1892. It was started with the sole aim of building Everett.  The name of the city is inspired from the name of Colby’s son. In the year 1855, the city residents gave up a part of their land for the company under the treaty of Point Elliot. There are city streets named after each of the founders of the city Hoyt Avenue, Hewitt Avenue and Colby Avenue.  It took a lot of time to get the city of Everett incorporated and was done On May 4 in the year 1893. It was in this year that the Great Northern Railroad also became a part of the Everett but was not made a terminus by James Hill. Instead Seattle was made the terminus.   

The survivors of the Bellingham riots settled at Everett but were forcefully evicted by a city mob. This city was also a witness to the gruesome Everett massacre of 1916.
