The spark was ignited more than a decade from now when Bill and Melinda Gates read an article about those under privilege children of the third world countries that dies every day with proper treatment and medication. The pathetic part of the story was that these children were dying from such diseases which we have eradicated from our society long ago. Approximately half million children dies every year because of the Rotavirus. I can really bet that you have never even hard of such a disease which is so dangerous. Mr. Gates also can not believe that there can be such a lethal virus which we have never even hard about.
When Mr. Gates Sr. hard about this he decided to stand beside these poor people and try to save the children from dying. The Bill and Melinda Gates foundation was established with a vision of charity and welfare in the year 2000. They tried to change the scenario by turning the page and supporting these poor families with all modern medication and scientific technology. The mission never stopped with the health care, the next aim of the foundation was to deliver proper education and nutrition to these children and a vision to bring them into the mainstream society.

The foundation is considered to be in the world’s fourth position of the most transparently operated foundation which is run privately. The vision of the foundation is to enhance the health care and educational facilities for the children in the under developed countries who are extremely below the poverty limit. They work in US also towards the educational expansion and providing access to everybody in the field of Information Technology.
The foundation was established in Seattle, Washington. They operate all over the world from their head office. The foundation has three trusties, Bill Gates, Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett. The Co Chair person of it is Mr. Gates Sr. for international co operation the foundation was awarded with Prince Of Asturias Award in the year 2006.

Mr. Warren Edward Buffet is one of the most successful investor of the world. He owns the largest share and is the CEO of The Berkshire Hathaway. He was ranked as the world’s richest person in the first financial half of the year2008. His present net worth is billion. He declared to donate his fortune towards Charity. He decided to give away 83% from it to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in the year 2006.
